CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Our Perspective
Your body is designed to move as one connected system. When one area stops moving well, another area often has to make up for it.
At NeuroKin-X Performance, we don’t just look at where it hurts. We look at how your body functions as a whole.
Chiropractic care goes beyond spinal adjustments. We combine hands-on treatment, movement assessment, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation strategies, and patient education to help improve the symmetry and efficiency of your movement, reduce unnecessary compensation, and support the way your body functions as an integrated system.
Chiropractic care focuses on how your joints, muscles, nervous system, and movement patterns work together.
Your chiropractor begins with a comprehensive assessment to understand how your body is functioning, identify areas where movement may be limited or asymmetrical, and recognize compensation patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms or limiting your performance.
Every treatment plan is based on your assessment findings, goals, and clinical presentation. Treatment could include chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, movement strategies, and education.
Chiropractic care may be worth considering if you are looking to:
- Improve mobility and joint movement.
- Reduce movement restrictions or compensation patterns.
- Recover from a sports or training-related injury.
- Address neck, back, or joint discomfort.
- Improve movement efficiency and overall function.
- Support your body’s ability to meet the demands of training, work, or everyday life.
- Be part of a comprehensive rehabilitation or performance plan.
Your first visit begins with a conversation about your health history, lifestyle, training, and goals.
Your chiropractor will then complete a comprehensive assessment, which may include movement analysis, postural assessment, range of motion testing, orthopedic and neurological testing, and other clinical assessments based on your presentation.
Once the assessment is complete, your chiropractor will explain their findings, discuss your treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.
When indicated, treatment could begin during your first visit and might include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, movement strategies, or other hands-on techniques.
Depending on your individual needs and goals, your chiropractor may also provide recommendations or exercises to help reinforce your treatment and support your progress between visits.
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your treatment plan, what to expect moving forward, and how each stage of care supports your goals.
Common questions
Not necessarily. Treatment is based on your assessment, goals, and comfort level. While chiropractic adjustments are an important treatment option, they are only one part of care. Your chiropractor will discuss their recommendations with you before beginning any treatment.
Most people find chiropractic adjustments to be comfortable. Some techniques involve a quick movement of a joint, while others are much gentler. Your chiropractor will explain what they recommend and ensure you’re comfortable throughout your visit.
That’s completely okay. Your comfort and preferences are always respected. If an adjustment isn’t recommended or simply isn’t something you’re comfortable with, your chiropractor will discuss other treatment options that align with your goals.
Yes. Chiropractic care is often used alongside other services as part of a comprehensive care plan. Depending on your goals, your chiropractor may recommend combining care with physiotherapy, massage therapy, BrainChamp Performance Training, balance training, or PEMF Recovery Sessions.
Both can help with pain, injury, movement, and return to activity, but they often place emphasis in different areas.
Chiropractic care places greater emphasis on improving movement symmetry and efficiency, reducing compensation, and helping the body function as an integrated system.
Physiotherapy places greater emphasis on restoring movement, rebuilding strength, and progressing you back to sport, work, and everyday activities.
